This Contemporary Home in Pampanga Feels Like a Resort
Interior Designer Tet Tiu-Alano of Tiu Alano Designs was tasked by her uncle to design his family home in Pampanga. While the interior designer and her team work tirelessly to offer their clients the best, Tet admits that this project had an underlying pressure as she was designing for a relative. However, the designer used this to her advantage, by knowing her client and his family well enough, the homes’ design was centered at the family’s personality and needs.
A set of animal rugs from the family’s recent trip to Africa are displayed in the foyer. An Eames Lounge Chair and a master piano set the tone for the home’s interior upon your entry.
The living room exudes grace and class with the stark contrast and harmony of black leather, warm woods, and silver metals. This shows the interior designer’s skill not only in design, but also in styling a classy space.
In the master bedroom, a his-and-her sink was installed. In the powder room, the interior designer added an interesting sink whose faucet comes from an overhead pipe and faucet. The tilles give the powder room a modern vibe.
The owners requested for a hotel-feel for their home. The interior designer addressed this by giveing elegant touches in every area of the home, especially in the bedrooms where each family member can retreat to a deep slumber.
OUTDOOR DINING AREA
The interior designer added a kitchen and dining area as an extension to the main house. This is because the family often entertains guests in their home.
At the very center of the home is the swimming pool, the interior designer added a lot of seating around this area to give the home a resort-feel.
